“Feels like family”
Jason Einwechter and his team were amazing! My husband and I recently bought a ‘fixer upper’ and Einwechter Electric handled all of the rewiring, new panel install, and smart home upgrades. Professional, tidy, and on time every day. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for fast, efficient, customer focused, reliable and professional service, Einwechter Electric is your electrical contractor. I have used their services on many occasions, upgrades, quotes and emergencies. They are quick to respond, reasonably priced, provide excellent service and a “feels like family approach”. Before you call
Einwechter Electric is a family business, founded by Jason and Wendy Einwechter. Ask us anything; we would rather explain it than have you guess.
About Einwechter ElectricQuestions people ask
Which areas does Einwechter Electric serve?
Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, and the townships around them: New Hamburg, Baden and New Dundee in Wilmot, Elmira, St. Jacobs and Breslau in Woolwich, Wellesley, and Ayr in North Dumfries. The shop is at 20 Steckle Place in Kitchener.
Do you do commercial and industrial work, or only homes?
Both. Alongside houses and condos, we work in offices, shops, restaurants, plants and warehouses, and institutions such as schools and places of worship: lighting retrofits, machine relocations, control panel wiring, school portable hook-ups and bucket truck service.
Are quotes free?
Yes. Tell us about the job, we look at it in person when it needs it, and you get a written quote with the work and materials spelled out before anything starts.
Do I need an ESA permit for electrical work?
Most electrical work in Ontario needs a notification to the Electrical Safety Authority, and an ESA inspector checks it. As a licensed contractor we file it and arrange the inspection as part of the job. See the ESA permits guide for what is covered.
What are your hours?
The office is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays by appointment. Send a quote request any time and we reply, usually within one business day.
